How to insert nofollow link in post the easy way
After the recent updates from Google lot of things have changed about the links you have on your post or page. The more the links less the juice is given to a link. If you have a lot of external links and few links that links to your own posts then the link juice will be divided. This can result in having your links very less link juice. Before I start you must know
What is no-follow link
These are normal links acts like a real link for audience, but the difference is that they have a rel=”nofollow” tag in the hyper text code. This nofollow tag is a way to tell Google or search engines that which links they should index and which they should not. This helps you to restrict giving link juice to the link you don’t want to.
Most of the time we have seen that specially comments are the section where no follow tags are used. When you are writing a great post where you have to give lot of external links then you can make some or every link a nofollow link.
How to make no-follow link
To make a link no-follow can be done in two ways, you can do it manually or the other way is by using a plugin. Both ways are fairly easy but I like to use a plugin which makes it more easier and hassle free without coding.
Manually making a link nofollow
In WordPress post if you want to make a link no-follow you have to go to text editor from visual editor. Now you have to make a regular link and add rel=”nofollow” in it like
[su_note note_color=”#f5f5f4″ text_color=”#000000″]<a href=”http://www.zdidit.com” rel=”nofollow”>zdidit</a>[/su_note]
adding rel=”nofollow”will get the job done.
Using plugin to make a link nofollow
If you don’t want to go into coding and manually writing rel=”nofollow” to every link can be annoying if you have to do it again and again. As far as I’m concerned I like to make things easy to use. I use a plugin to get all the work done in a single click. rel nofollow checkbox is a plugin which adds an option of making a link nofollow while you insert a link in your wordpress post
you just have to install the plugin and activate it and it’ll start showing a tick box for making your links nofollow. This is by far the easiest way to insert a rel=”nofollow” tag in a link.
